This stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and is often connected to the word "Feed." It is a way to easily send a list of headline stories or other content from a web server to your email or another application known as an "aggregator." The idea is a way for you to have updates from one or more sources automatically notify you of the latest news. Examples might include "Word of the Day," "CNN Top Stories," and "College Sports Headlines." When browsing your favorite websites, look for the orange and white symbol to identify websites that offer a "feed."
