In 2000, Corporation for Educational Technology,with the support of a grant from Lilly Endowment, created My Target.For the past eight years this has been used by Indiana's educators as an online assessment tool to learn how much they know about technology and assess their abilities to use it effectively in the classroom. However, with the recent change of the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers and the cost it would take to upgrade this resource, My Target was taken offline October 31, 2008.
