Providing the best education for our Indiana students takes a variety of resources from across Indiana and our entire nation. These are some of those initiatives, programs and groups that help promote learning.
PATINS Project Tech Expo
On Thursday April 16, 2009, the PATINS Project (Promoting Achievement through Technology and INstruction for all Students) a DOE/Center for Exceptional Learners funded project, will be sponsoring a one day Tech Expo. This event will take place at:
7435 North Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana
Event time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the day, vendors will be showcasing products that can be used in the classroom to increase students' success. Besides communication devices, items that can be used with individuals with vision impairments, hearing impairments and other assistive technology devices, there will be vendors with materials that could assist in RtI (Response to Intervention) and UDL (Universal Design for Learning) settings. Throughout the day, there will be vendor presentations on various products ranging between 45-90 minutes in length. This Expo is geared for all school personnel as well as parents and service providers.
There is no charge for this Expo. However, registration is required. A sack lunch will be provided compliments of PATINS. Registration Forms and additional information can be found at the PATINS website www.patinsproject.com.
