Professional Development

Since its inception in 1988, quality professional development has been a key feature of our program services. From technology training to sharing of “best practice” among professional educators, the Buddy facilitation team takes this responsibility seriously. As part of our project mission, we keep up with new technology trends and listen to what today’s teachers want and need to serve their students, then deliver timely training. Since 1995, Buddy has operated a training center in central Indiana to offer Indiana teachers a variety of workshop and institute learning experiences. We also contribute to Indiana’s professional growth by presenting concurrent sessions and workshops at several state and regional education and technology conferences. Our training team develops and posts many free activity ideas, "getting started" guides, and detailed instructions for targeted technology use and integration by teachers in Indiana and beyond.
